The Messenger Service servers are having some troubles.

Until they are resolved you might encounter error code 80048820, 81000314 and others while trying to sign in.

.NET Messenger Service status states:

The .NET Messenger Service is temporarily experiencing difficulty. You may be unable to sign in. Please try again later.
Last Update: 4/12/2007 11:00:00 AM Pacific Time (GMT -8:00)

As suggested in our articles about these errors, it's best to just wait it out.

- Error code: 80048820
- Error code: 81000314
