How to have a screen name on multiple lines
The trick to get a screen name on multiple lines is to insert a special character called the newline character. This character will break of your screen name and resume on a newline. Now, Messenger does not natively support inserting this character anymore like it did in older versions. However, not all is lost, as we'll see next.
Using Messenger Plus! you can again have a multiline screen name. Note that this programs author gets compensated for his work with adware bundled with the application. You can choose if you want to install it or not while installing the Messenger Plus! plugin.
After installing, open a conversation with someone and type in the following command: /nick, following the first line of text you want in your screenname. To insert a newline character in your screenname, press shift+enter.
